There is no required or preferred method of study to prepare for either the APTD or the CPTD exam. Candidates should refer to the APTD or CPTD Certification Handbooks for the Exam Content Outline for each credential which will detail the topics covered on the exam. Each Candidate Handbook also has a Gap Analysis to help candidates determine how to focus their study.
Additionally, the Candidate Handbooks contain a resource reading list, by topic area, of professional texts which may help candidates close any knowledge gaps.
