To be eligible, CPTD candidates must meet all the requirements in one of these pathways:
Standard Pathway
- At least five years of professional work experience in the talent development (TD) field AND
- Sixty hours of professional development in TD topics found in the Developing Professional Capabilities or the Impacting Organizational Capabilities domains of the Talent Development Capability Model
OR
ATD Master Series Pathway
- At least five years of professional work experience in the TD field AND
- Successful completion of an ATD Master Series program within the past five years
OR
APTD Pathway
- At least four years of professional work experience in the TD field AND
- Currently hold the APTD credential
