To be eligible, APTD candidates must meet all the requirements in one of these pathways:
Standard Pathway
- Three years of work experience in the talent development (TD) field AND
- Twenty-eight hours of professional development in TD topics found in the Developing Professional Capabilities or the Impacting Organizational Capabilities domains of the Talent Development Capability Model
OR
Master Series Pathway
- Three years of work experience in the TD field AND
- Successful completion of an ATD Master Series program within the past five years
