- Adjust font, font size, and background color for easier reading.

Visit apps.apple.com/us/app/atd-bookshelf/id6752909753 for screenshots and visuals of these features.
I downloaded and logged into the mobile app, but I don’t see my TDBoK Guide?
The app only shows books you have already opened at least once on td.org or in a course on the ATD learning platform.
- Go to td.org (or your ATD course) on a computer or mobile browser.
- Open your TDBoK Guide from the Benefits Center or from the course.
- After you have launched it there, return to the mobile app and refresh your library.
Once you have launched the TDBoK Guide on the web, it will appear in your mobile app library.
Does the app support other languages?
The mobile app supports 37 languages. The app gets its language setting from the mobile device’s operating system, which on many devices can be set per app. To change the language in the ATD Bookshelf app, do so through the device’s general language settings.
Changing the language will translate the app menu, navigation, and tools, but not the original ATD content or user-generated content like notes.
ATD does offer translated versions of the TDBoK Guide. For more information, visit our FAQs on translated versions.
I have been accessing ATD’s Bookshelf e-reader platform through my web browser. Will I lose any progress if I switch to using the mobile app?
No. Your work is synced across all your devices.
- Highlights, notes, and flashcards made in your web browser will appear in the mobile app.
- Notes and highlights you create while reading offline in the mobile app will sync back to the web version when your device reconnects to the internet.
I previously used the generic VitalSource Bookshelf mobile app—will I lose any progress if I switch to the ATD Bookshelf App?
No. Your content syncs across apps and devices.
For example:
- If you highlighted text in the generic VitalSource Bookshelf app, and then later downloaded the ATD Bookshelf mobile app, your highlights will automatically transfer to the ATD mobile app.
Can I access the mobile app from within ATD courses in the learning platform?
Yes, there are opportunities to switch to the mobile app from within the ATD course experience.
- On a computer: When you open a Bookshelf resource, you can choose “Read Offline” or “Download App” to get a QR code. If you already have the app installed, scanning the QR code opens the app directly to that page.
-
On a mobile device: You may see an “Open App” banner at the top of the screen. Tapping it opens the ATD Bookshelf app to the same page
