All certificants must recertify every 3 years. APTDs must earn at least 40 points and CPTDs must earn at least 60 points. Points can be earned in a variety of ways. Recertification requirements can be found in the Recertification Guide here https://www.td.org/recertificationguide. Recertification is completed online via the certification portal.
