Advancing Talent Development Awards
These awards honor individuals for their thought leadership in and advocacy for the profession.
Talent Development Thought Leader Award
This award is presented to an individual from outside the profession whose commitment, advocacy, and actions supporting talent development within or outside an organization have influenced audiences, organizations, or society.
Talent Development Champion Award
This award is presented to an individual from outside the profession whose commitment, advocacy, and actions supporting talent development within or outside an organization have influenced audiences, organizations, or society. [EL1]
ATD Dissertation Award
The ATD Dissertation Award is given to foster and disseminate research in the practice of developing talent in organizations. It is presented to the person who has submitted the best doctoral dissertation for which a degree has been granted between August 1 of the previous year and September 30 of the current year.
Talent Development Innovation Award
This award is given in recognition of an innovation that has a measurable impact on an organization or audience, is moving the talent development industry forward, is sustainable, and is replicable within or outside the talent development field. This award can be presented to an individual or a team.
Talent Development One to Watch Award
This award is presented to an individual in the talent development profession who is early in their career (five or fewer years of experience).
Talent Development Outstanding Professional Award
This award recognizes the work of talent development professionals. It was developed for individuals whose primary role or job is within the TD field.
Talent Development for Good Award
This award recognizes organizations that have leveraged talent development to make significant contributions to improve others’ lives, change an industry or community for the better, or serve society in a powerful way.
