If a customer placed an order on the web and populated the Mail Stop field (MS) with a suite number or floor, that field will not populate the shipping address in the WPK system. If the shipment was returned by UPS due to insufficient address because the MS field contained important information for delivery, it is ATD’s fault and not the customer’s. If you see such an instance where the customer was charged shipping on the replacement order or was charged a 10 percent restocking fee, please adjust the price in the customer’s favor.
In September 2008, we eliminated the MS option from the address field on our website, so this will not happen in the future.
