Currently, ATD has more than 700 group and enterprise member companies, many of which are government agencies. In fact, some of our largest group followings are federal government agencies. In addition, we provide group memberships at the state and city government levels across several agencies.
There are certain distinguishing features of an ATD group membership. The group membership “belongs” to the organization. Although ATD needs names of individuals (to include in the group) to track benefits, those memberships do not "belong" to the individuals. If an individual within a group leaves a company, they cannot take that membership with them. It remains at the organization under the group. The company has the choice to transfer another name into the membership or leave the remaining funds on the group account as a credit to use toward other ATD products or services, or a future addition into the group. Your organization will have an account manager at ATD who will oversee your group. At the same time, ATD will request that a contact person be designated at your organization.
